Getting Involved
OMLF’s primary members are merchant/business associations across each of the city’s business districts. In addition, individual merchants, government agencies, community leaders, political leaders, chambers of commerce and others are invited to participate in OMLF activities to further our mission to improve Oakland’s quality of life through supporting our neighborhood business districts. To receive access to our calendar & reminders, opportunities to get involved, helpful links, business resources and more, please send email to info@omlf.org with your full name, organization name, phone/fax, mailing address and email address. You can send information on behalf of others you know would be interested, but please indicate this in your email.

• Be a voice for your commercial district - Come to OMLF Monthly Forums.  They are held the 4th Wednesday of each month from 8:30 a.m-10:00 a.m. in Hearing Room 4 at Oakland City Hall. Call to confirm (510) 663-0653

• Share Your Talents and Ideas - Join an OMLF Action Team dedicated to identifying and implementing the best practices for revitalizing neighborhood commercial corridors. Action teams meet:

• Advocacy and Policy Team: Chair: position open

• Communications Team: Chair: Stu Sweetow at sweetow@avconsultants.com

• Marketing/Promotions Team: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of Month from 4:00-6:00 at Pacific Coast Brewery, 906 Washington St.  Committee Chair: Erin Kilmer-Neel at ekn@oaklandunwrapped.org

• Be a Merchant Leader - Join the OMLF Board~ The OMLF Board meets the 2nd Monday of the month from 6:00-7:30 pm at the OMLF office, 829 27th Avenue, Oakland, CA 94601.
