The City is proposing that if you want to install a new sign or awning you will have to go to the City office for a 30 minute meeting and pay a fee between $722.93 and $967.35. These proposed 2 year amendments to the zoning maps will be presented to the CED Committee on June 10 and City Council in June. Merchant input is important.

and concerns regarding the role each Agency (DA’s Office,
Sheriffs Dept., Probation, Parole, Judicial and others) plays in
dealing with crime and the different steps that follow once OPD
does their job.

Passed in November 2004, Measure Y provides approximately $19 million annually in the following violence prevention & public safety programs and services:

· Community & Neighborhood Policing Services - 63 sworn police officers, training and equipment;
· Violence Prevention Programs with an emphasis on youth and children;
· Fire and Paramedic Services;
· Evaluation.
